The bats: Outfielder Lance Berkman ranks among the National League leaders in walks (111) and on-base percentage (.455) . . . Center fielder Carlos Beltran has a seven-game hitting streak. He is batting .435 with six home runs and 11 RBI during the streak. ... First baseman Jeff Bagwell has hit .412 with two doubles, two home runs and seven RBI in the past four games.
