LOUISVILLE - Rob Stratton homered and Jermaine Clark drove in two runs to lead the Louisville Bats to a 6-3 win over the Columbus Clippers on Saturday night in the International League.
Felix Escalona hit a two-run single in the first to give Columbus the lead. Clark drove in a run and Brandon Larson added two more for Louisville in the bottom of the inning, making it 3-2. Clark had his second RBI the next inning, scoring Kenny Kelly.
Stratton's home run came in the fourth, and Anderson Machado had an RBI single in the eighth.
The Clippers scored their other run when John Rodriguez drove in Andy Phillips on a groundout in the fifth.
Louisville starter Brian Rose (2-2) went 6 1-3 innings, giving up four hits and striking out three. Aaron Myette earned the save.
Columbus starter Javier Ortiz (1-5) allowed 10 hits and three walks while striking out two in five innings.
