The Enquirer
When: Today 7:10 p.m.; Wednesday 7:10 p.m.; Thursday 7:10 p.m.
Where: Great American Ball Park.
TV: FSN, today and Wednesday.
Radio: WLW (700 AM).
Records: Reds 59-64, fourth place in the National League Central. Cardinals 82-42, first in the NL Central.
The arms: Today - RHP Josh Hancock (3-1, 6.45 ERA) vs. RHP Jason Marquis (12-4, 3.75); Wednesday - RHP Luke Hudson (1-1, 3.97) vs. RHP Woody Williams (9-7, 3.93); Thursday - RHP Aaron Harang (7-6, 4.45) vs. RHP Chris Carpenter (13-4, 3.74).
The bats: This is a potent lineup. Scott Rolen (31 homers, 110 RBI), Albert Pujols (38 homers, 96 RBI) and Jim Edmonds (31 homers, 84 RBI) are the heart of it. But the supporting cast seems to hit the Reds, too.
The rest: The Cardinals have won eight straight series and 14 of 15. They are 40 games over .500 for the first time since 1985.
