Series preview: Reds at Diamondbacks



When: 10:05 p.m. today; 10:05 p.m. Saturday; 4:35 p.m. Sunday.

Where: Bank One Ballpark, Phoenix.

TV: FSN, Saturday, Sunday.

Radio: WLW-AM (700).

Records: Reds 57-63, fifth place in the National League Central. Diamondbacks 37-85, fifth place in the NL West.

The arms: Today - RHP Luke Hudson (0-1, 8.44 ERA) vs. LHP Randy Johnson (12-10, 2.87); Saturday - RHP Aaron Harang (7-5, 4.53) vs. RHP Brandon Webb (4-14, 3.81); Sunday - LHP Brandon Claussen (1-3, 5.87) vs. TBA.

The bats: With Luis Gonzalez and Richie Sexson out with injuries and Steve Finley traded away, this isn't a great lineup.

The rest: The Reds were 2-7 last year and 0-6 in 2002 vs. Arizona. From May 8, 2001, to Aug. 13, 2003, the Reds lost 16 straight to the D'backs.
