AAA: Rochester 10, Louisville 9

By The Associated Press

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Augie Ojeda scored on a wild pitch in the 11th inning and the Rochester Red Wings held on to defeat the Louisville Bats 10-9 in the International League Sunday.

Ojeda led off the inning with a double off losing pitcher Chris Booker (0-1) and advanced to third base on a wild pitch. He beat catcher Corky Millers' throw to home after Booker tossed another pitch in the dirt.

Rochester (55-48) took a 5-0 lead through four innings with the help of three home runs. Juan Diaz blasted his 10th of the season in the second inning. Alex Prieto led off the third with his fourth homer, and Jason Kubel drilled his seventh, a two-run shot, later that inning.

Rob Stratton hit two three-run home runs for Louisville (47-55). The second, against winning pitcher Adam Johnson (4-2) gave the Bats' a 9-5 lead in the ninth inning.

In the bottom of the ninth, a two-run single by Luis Rodriguez and a bases-loaded walk to Kubel cut Louisville's lead to 9-8. Aaron Myette then hit Diaz with a pitch to tie the game.
