The arms: Today - Reds RHP Aaron Harang (5-2, 4.25 ERA) vs. Brewers RHP Ben Hendrickson (0-1, 7.20); Tuesday - Reds LHP Brandon Claussen (NR) vs. Brewers LHP Doug Davis (9-7, 3.53).

The bats: Before Sunday's 4-2 win over the Cubs, the Brewers ranked 12th in the National League with a .255 team batting average. First baseman Lyle Overbay is second in the NL with a .344 batting average. Outfielder Scott Podsednik leads the league with 36 stolen bases.

The rest: The Brewers split the four-game series against the Cubs in Chicago. ... The Reds lead the all-time series 52-49-1 and are 5-4 this season.
