Reds vs. Brewers series preview



When: Today and Wednesday 7:35 p.m.

Where: Miller Park.

TV: Fox Sports Ohio, both games.

Radio: WLW (700 AM).

Records: Reds 12-7, tied for first place in the National League Central. Brewers 10-10, fifth place in the NL Central.

The arms: Today - RHP Cory Lidle (2-1, 4.13 ERA) vs. LHP Doug Davis (1-2, 5.48); Wednesday - RHP Paul Wilson (3-0, 4.13 ERA) vs. RHP Matt Kinney (0-2, 6.97).

The bats: Junior Spivey (.301, two homers, 14 RBI), Lyle Overbay (.276, two homers, 14 RBI), Keith Ginter (.324, four homers, eight RBI) are putting up good numbers.

The rest: Leadoff man Scott Podsednik has stolen 12 bases. The Brewers had won four of five before losing Sunday to St. Louis.
