AAA: Toledo 9, Louisville 5

LOUISVILLE - Marcus Thames hit three home runs to lead the Toledo Mud Hens to a 9-5 win over the Louisville Bats on Sunday in the International League.

Thames also doubled and had five RBIs as the Mud Hens completed a two-game weekend sweep.

Toledo starter John Ennis (2-2) earned the win, allowing three runs on seven hits with six strikeouts in 5 2-3 innings of work.

Louisville starter Bubba Nelson (0-2) took the loss, allowing five runs on nine hits in five innings.

Jermaine Clark went 3-for-5 with two RBIs for the Bats.
