AAA: Norfolk 9, Louisville 7

LOUISVILLE - Craig Brazell homered twice and the Norfolk Tides held off a late Louisville rally to beat the Bats 9-7 in the International League on Saturday.

Raul Gonzalez also homered for the Tides, who had 12 hits.

The Tides built a 9-1 lead in the first six innings, but the Bats struck for a run in the seventh and four runs in the eighth.

Reggie Taylor had an inside-the-park home run for Louisville in the bottom of the ninth, but the rally ended there.

Norfolk starter Randy Keisler (2-0) got the win, allowing a run on four hits with eight strikeouts in six innings of work.

Louisville starter Jung Keun Bong (1-1) took the loss, giving up seven runs on nine hits with four strikeouts in five innings of work.
