GAME REPORT: Yankees 3, Reds 2
The bats: The Reds did not have a hit off Jose Contreras until D'Angelo Jimenez singled in the sixth inning. Ken Griffey Jr. singled in two runs to tie the game later in the inning.
The arms: Paul Wilson made his most impressive start of the spring. He went six innings, allowing two runs on seven hits, and walked one and struck out four.
The rest: It was another rough day in the field for the Reds - Wilson and Wily Mo Pena allowed back-to-back runners to reach on errors in the second inning.
Up next: The Reds go to Lakeland to play the Detroit Tigers in a 6:05 p.m. game. Right-hander Jose Acevedo (1-0, 4.02 ERA) faces right-hander Esteban Yan (2-0, 2.38).
