The Cincinnati Enquirer

Injury report

Brandon Larson was held out Friday and probably will miss today's game, as well, because of an eye infection.

The bats: Barry Larkin and Ken Griffey Jr. made their spring debuts and went 0-for-2 in the game at Sarasota as the Reds managed only four singles. Jermaine Clark hit a home run in the game against the Twins.

The arms: Aaron Harang started the "A" game and pitched two innings of one-hit ball. Cory Lidle went two innings against the Twins. He allowed an unearned run on three hits.

The rest: The Reds did not look sharp in the field in the game at Sarasota. They committed four errors. D'Angelo Jimenez was the only starter to make one, however.

On deck

The Reds go to St. Petersburg to play the Philadelphia Phillies in their new spring training stadium, 1:05 p.m. at Clearwater, Fla.

Possible pitchers: Reds left-hander Jesus Sanchez and right-hander Seth Etherton; Phillies right-handers Brett Myers and Gavin Floyd.

Radio: WLW-AM (700).
