Reds choose Sabo as hitting coach for Billings club

The Reds tapped a familiar name when hiring their hitting instructor for the Billings rookie ball club.

Former all-start Chris Sabo, 41, will serve as a roving instructor for Single-A Dayton and Triple-A Louisville before the Pioneer League season begins in June.

Sabo played nine years in the majors, including seven with the Reds. He hit .268 with 116 home runs and 120 stolen bases.
