Reds at Dodgers series preview

When: 10:10 p.m., today, Wednesday and Thursday

Where: Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles

TV: Today - none; Wednesday and Thursday, Fox Sports Net

Radio: WLW-AM (700)

The arms: Today - Reds RHP Danny Graves (4-11, 5.31 ERA) vs. RHP Kevin Brown (10-5, 2.10); Wednesday - RHP Jose Acevedo (2-0, 2.63) vs. LHP Odalis Perez (6-9, 4.70); Thursday - RHP Paul Wilson (6-8, 5.22) vs. RHP Hideo Nomo (12-9, 2.67)

The bats: The Dodgers fired hitting coach Jack Clark on Monday. While Los Angeles has one of the toughest pitching staffs, it is last in the National League in hitting. The Dodgers added Jeromy Burnitz (.210, 3 HRs in 17 games) and Rickey Henderson (.220 in 13 games) last month in hopes that it would help the hitting, but both have been hit-or-miss for the club.

The rest: The Reds won two of three games against the Dodgers in Cincinnati in April.
