INDIANAPOLIS - Brandon Larson hit two home runs, and Corky Miller added two runs as the Louisville Bats defeated the Indianapolis Indians 7-2 Tuesday night in the International League.
Trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Indianapolis' Lee Stevens and Scott Seabol reached on errors on back-to-back plays. Two batters later, Cody McKay's grounder scored Stevens to tie the game.
Larson's first home run put Louisville (14-9) in the lead for good in the fourth inning.
The Bats then extended the lead to 5-1 with three runs in the seventh.
Larson's second homer of the game made it 6-1 in the top of the seventh.
The Indians' final run came in the bottom of the inning when Jason Conti hit reliever Jose Acevedo's first pitch over the right field wall.
Lance Davis (2-2) allowed just one unearned run on two hits and two walks over seven innings to earn the win for Louisville.
