LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Louisville Bats scored on a wild pitch by Willie Banks to beat the Columbus Clippers 8-7 in an International League game Thursday night.

Louisville, the Reds' Triple-A farm team, trailed 6-0 but came back to score eight runs in the final three innings for the win.

Jose Acevedo (1-0) held the Clippers scoreless over the final 1 2/3 innings, allowing one hit and striking out two.

For Columbus, Alex Graman took a no-hitter into the seventh inning before a wild series of Bats hits and Clippers errors allowed Louisville back into the game. David Shepard (0-1) took the loss for the Clippers by allowing a Jason Maxwell single to lead off the ninth. Wilmy Caceres pinch ran for Maxwell and scored the game-winning run with two outs.

Michel Hernandez led Columbus at the plate with a 4-for-5 performance, including a double and two runs scored.
