Louisville 3, Indianapolis 2



LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Felipe Crespo drove in two runs, including his first home run of the year, as the Louisville Bats, the Reds' Triple-A farm team, beat the Indianapolis Indians 3-2 in the International League Wednesday night.

Joey Hamilton (1-0) pitched 1 2/3 innings, allowing no runs, walking one and striking out two, for the win. Mark Watson pitched a perfect ninth and earned his third save.

Mike Buddie (0-2) pitched 2 1/3 innings, allowing one run on two hits and striking out two, and was tagged with the loss.

Russell Branyan and Brandon Larson each contributed hits for Louisville.

Jason Conti led the Indians' offense, going 2-for-5 with a run scored. Mark Smith and Pete Zoccolillo each drove in a run for Indianapolis.
