Puerto Rico's Hall of Famers
ROBERTO CLEMENTE, OF, Carolina, inducted in 1973: A four-time batting champion, Clemente was the National League's MVP in 1966. Died at 38 years old while flying in plane carrying relief supplies to earthquake victims in Nicaragua in 1972. All of 3,000 hits came with the Pirates from 1955-1972.
ORLANDO CEPEDA, IF, Ponce, 1999: A seven-time All Star, the Baby Bull was the 1958 National League Rookie of the Year and a unanimous NL MVP in 1967. Played for the Giants, Cardinals, Braves, A's, Red Sox and Royals from 1958-1974.
