Guest singers: National Anthem - Daniel Rodriguez, a New York City police officer known as the "Singing Policeman." Rodriguez also sang "God Bless America" in the seventh inning.

"God Bless the USA" and "The Defenders" - country music artist Lee Greenwood

Air salute: Ohio Air National Guard's 179th Airlift Wing of Mansfield flew over the stadium; the 161st Fighter Wing of Terre Haute, Ind., was scheduled to fly over but was called to active duty several days ago.

Guest politicians in attendance: Former Hamilton County commissioners Guy Guckenberger, Tom Neyer Jr., Bob Bedinghaus.

Current Hamilton County commissioners John Dowlin and Todd Portune, and Hamilton County administrator David Krings.

Also in attendance: MLB commissioner Bud Selig; Bengals owner Mike Brown, Troy and Katie Blackburn, and head coach Marvin Lewis.

First pitch: 41st president George Herbert Walker Bush.

Game time: 4:11 p.m.

Game temperature: 53 degrees
