CLEARWATER, Fla. - Mike Mussina struck out seven over five innings and Bubba Trammell homered to give the Yankees a 2-0 win over the Phillies Friday in the final major league spring training game at Jack Russell Stadium.
The Phillies will move next year to a new spring training ballpark, a few miles away. Hall of Famer Robin Roberts, who started the first game at Jack Russell in 1955, threw out the ceremonial first pitch.
Philadelphia starter Randy Wolf allowed four hits over five scoreless innings.
Mets 9, Orioles 2
At Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Roberto Alomar hit a grand slam and Cliff Floyd added a two-run shot for New York. Al Leiter pitched two-hit ball for six innings.
Marlins 8, Expos 4
At Jupiter, Fla., Ivan Rodriguez drove in three runs for Florida to give him a .381 batting average and a team-leading 18 RBIs this spring. Vladimir Guerrero hit a 498-foot homer.
Pirates 4, Tigers 0
At Lakeland, Fla., Pittsburgh's Randall Simon went 3-for-3 to extend his hitting streak to 13 games, and Kip Wells gave up one hit in 4 2-3 sharp innings.
Red Sox 4, Braves 0
At Atlanta, Derek Lowe closed out a shaky spring by pitching one-hit ball for six innings as Boston beat the Braves. Lowe, who went 21-8 with a 2.58 ERA last season, entered with an 8.36 ERA in five previous spring starts.
Atlanta starter Russ Ortiz allowed three hits and one earned run in three innings. John Smoltz followed with a hitless inning.
Blue Jays 4, Devil Rays 3
At St. Petersburg, Fla., Mark Hendrickson had another impressive outing and Eric Hinske hit a two-run homer for Toronto. Shannon Stewart had three hits to raise his spring training batting average to .491.
Hendrickson, a former NBA player, allowed one unearned run in 5 1-3 innings to lower his spring ERA to 1.04.
Astros 6, White Sox 3
At Houston, Wade Miller pitched six solid innings and Lance Berkman hit a two-run single for the Astros.
Beavers 3, Padres 2
At Portland, Ore., Oliver Perez pitched six strong innings, but injury-riddled San Diego lost to its Triple-A affiliate. Keith Lockhart hit a two-run double with two outs in the ninth to tie it for the Padres.
The game drew 13,511 fans to PGE Park as Portland bids for its own major league team. The city is one of three leading candidates to become the new home of the Montreal Expos.
Brewers 5, Twins 4
At Milwaukee, Brooks Kieschnick singled home the go-ahead run and pitched 2 1-3 shutout innings for the Brewers.
Kieschnick, who will start the season at Triple-A Indianapolis, spent spring training trying to make the majors as a pitcher and pinch-hitter. He is 3-0 with a .462 batting average (6-for-13) and two homers.

At Round Rock, Texas, Jeremy Affeldt pitched two-hit ball for six innings to lead Kansas City.
Cubs 7, Diamondbacks 3
At Phoenix, Matt Clement allowed one run over five innings in his final spring tuneup and Moises Alou hit a two-run homer off Elmer Dessens.
Cardinals 1, Palm Beach 0
At Jupiter, Fla., Woody Williams pitched six sharp innings and Eduardo Perez hit a sacrifice fly as St. Louis beat its Class-A affiliate.
Dodgers 5, Angels 3
At Los Angeles, Kevin Brown struck out eight in the final tuneup for what he hopes will be his first injury-free season since 1999.
Brown gave up one run and six hits in 5 1-3 innings to finish the spring with a 1.03 ERA. Eric Gagne earned his first save of the spring with a scoreless ninth.
Rangers 10, Giants 5
At San Francisco, Juan Gonzalez went 3-for-3 with a homer and six RBIs. Giants starter Damian Moss allowed six runs on six hits in 4 2-3 innings.
Texas shortstop Alex Rodriguez was 1-for-3 with an RBI single and two runs scored in his third game back after missing two weeks with a herniated disc in his neck.
