Twins 2, Reds 1



The Reds lost their fifth straight Grapefruit League exhibition game and fell to 12-15-2.

The arms: Jeff Austin pitched 41/3 innings, allowing only one run.

Josias Manzanillo took the loss.

He allowed his first run of the spring after 10 shutout innings.

The bats: The Reds had only four hits.

Barry Larkin doubled. Sean Casey, Ken Griffey Jr. and Felipe Lopez singled.

The rest: This was the final game of the spring at Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota, Fla.

Up next: The Reds go to Fort Myers to play the Boston Red Sox in a 1:05 p.m. game today.
