CHICAGO - When the Cubs announced their home schedule for 2003, it confirmed National League Central teams will play American League East teams.
The Reds probably will host the same two teams the Cubs do: the New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Devil Rays. The Reds reportedly are going to Cleveland and probably Boston for their interleague road games.
The Reds, by the way, didn't get any prime weekend series at Wrigley. They play here April 14, 15, 16 and 17 and Sept. 12, 13 and 14. The April series is midweek. The September series is Friday-Sunday.
The Reds haven't played a weekend series in the summer at Wrigley since August 2000.
