Sparky to throw out first pitch Sunday
The Reds announced more plans for this weekend's Philadelphia Phillies series, which will close Cinergy Field.
Sparky Anderson will throw out the first pitch Sunday.
The noon press conference Sunday with Barry Larkin, Johnny Bench, Tony Perez and Anderson will be broadcast live on the stadium scoreboard.
The first pitch (or pitches) for Friday's game will be thrown simultaneously by the six Reds employees who worked the entire Riverfront/Cinergy era: Lois Schneider, Larry Barton, Chief Bender, Gene Bennett, Bernie Stowe and Joe Nuxhall.
