        Radio: WLW-AM (700).

        Records: Cincinnati 61-58, third place in NL Central; Houston 63-57, second place in NL Central.

        The arms:

        Today - RHP Brian Moehler (1-2, 6.35) vs. RHP Dave Mlicki (4-8, 4.93);

        Saturday - LHP Shawn Estes (4-9, 4.55) vs. RHP Roy Oswalt (14-6, 3.20);

        Monday - RHP Jared Fernandez (1-2, 3.70) vs. RHP Wade Miller (10-3, 4.06).

        The bats: Houston entered play Thursday batting .260 as a team. And the Killer B-powered offense had totaled 119 home runs, nine fewer than the Reds. That said, Lance Berkman (.285, 31 home runs, 93 RBI) and Jeff Bagwell (22 HRs, 77 RBI) remain big-time longball threats.

        The rest: Houston is 30-14 (.682) in its last 44 games and 7-3 against the Reds this season. The Astros had won five consecutive road games before losing Thursday at Chicago. Astros shortstop Julio Lugo (.261) is done for the year after breaking his forearm Tuesday. Adam Everett (.191) has filled in for Lugo of late.
