Louisville 4, Toledo 3

The Associated Press

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Chris Reitsma had five strikeouts in eight innings to lead the Louisville Bats to a 4-3 win over the Toledo Mud Hens on Wednesday night in the International League.

Reitsma (2-0) gave up all three Toledo runs and five hits, but the Reds' Triple-A club still climbed to within a half-game of the Western Division-leading Mud Hens. Luke Hudson pitched a scoreless ninth to earn his second save of the season.

Nate Cornejo (8-6) took the loss, giving up all four Louisville runs on 10 hits in 5 2-3 innings.

Robin Jennings went 1-for-4 with a run scored and two RBIs and Jason Maxwell and Kevin Witt had two hits an RBI apiece for Louisville.

Michael Rivera hit a two-run homer for Toledo.
