LOUISVILLE, Ky. Robin Jennings went 3-for-3 and doubled in the winning run as the Louisville Bats beat the Columbus Clippers 2-1 Monday night.
Jose Acevedo (10-6) went eight innings for Louisville, allowing only one run and scattered seven hits. Luke Hudson pitched a perfect ninth for his first save.
Raul Gonzalez, Gerald Williams, Jason Maxwell and Gookie Dawkins each had a hit for Louisville.
Billy McMillon and Kary Bridges had two hits apiece to lead Columbus. Juan Rivera drove in Columbus' lone run with a single in the first.
Brandon Knight (0-5) was tagged with the loss. Knight went six innings, allowing five hits and two runs.
