LOUISVILLE, Ky. Kary Bridges had three RBIs to lead the Columbus Clippers to a 5-2 win over the Louisville Bats Saturday night in International League play.
Marcus Thames was the only Clipper to collect multiple hits. Billy McMillon scored twice for Columbus (51-70) and notched his third triple of the season.
Gookie Dawkins had a perfect night at the plate going 3-for-3. Louisville's (68-54) only runs came on Corky Miller and Chris Sexton home runs.
Alex Graman (6-5) started for Columbus pitching six innings, surrendering two runs to earn the win. Jason Anderson picked up his sixth save pitching a perfect ninth inning.
Brian Reith (6-12) pitched seven innings, giving up five runs in a losing effort.
