COLUMBUS, Ohio Robin Jennings went 2-for-4 and drove in three runs as the Louisville Bats beat the Columbus Clippers 8-4 Wednesday in the International League.
The Clippers took a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the fourth inning on a three-run home run by Drew Henson, his 14th of the year.
The Bats scored two in the sixth on Jennings' double and two in the seventh on an RBI single by Ruben Mateo and an RBI groundout by Raul Gonzalez. Gonzalez also drove in a run in the ninth.
Sean Casey, on an injury rehab assignment from the Cincinnati Reds, went 1-for-5 for the Bats.
Juan Acevedo (9-6) got the win, allowing four runs on seven hits in eight innings. David Shepard (0-1) took the loss, allowing five runs on six hits in five innings.
