LOUISVILLE, Ky. Raul Gonzalez hit a bases-loaded single in the ninth inning to lift the Louisville Bats to an 8-7 win over the Charlotte Knights Saturday night in the International League.
Gonzalez went 4-for-4 on the night. Ruben Mateo, Jesse Levis and Robin Jennings had two hits apiece for the Bats.
Joe Borchard went 4-for-5 with three doubles to lead the Knights.
Anthony Sanders tied the game in the top of the ninth with a two-run homer off Louisville reliever Mike Neu (1-1), who still earned the win despite blowing the save chance.
Charlotte reliever Brooks Kieschnick (0-1) gave up the game-winning hit and took the loss.
