Rogers might say OK to Mariners
Dallas Morning News
After vetoing a deal to the Reds, Texas pitcher Kenny Rogers left the door open to accept another deal, possibly to Seattle.
I wouldn't close the door on anything ... Rogers said. "This (Cincinnati) was not the right one for me. I don't know what tomorrow will bring.
Seattle general manager Pat Gillick acknowledged interest in Rogers, and Rangers GM John Hart acknowledged that other teams still could be involved in talks for the 37-year-old left-hander.
