        • Where: Miller Park.

        • TV: Today, Fox Sports Net.

        • Radio: WLW-AM (700).

        • Records: Reds 47-41, second place in the National League Central; Brewers 34-58, sixth place in the NL Central.

        • The arms:

        Today — Chris Reitsma (3-7, 3.45 ERA) vs. Jose Cabrera (4-5, 5.03)

Cabrera beat the Reds in his last start despite walking six and allowing four runs in five innings. Sheets has lost his last four starts despite pitching well. He went at least six innings in his past five starts and his ERA is 3.52 over that span.

        • The bats: First baseman Richie Sexson returned to the Brewers' starting lineup Sunday after missing two games to rest his sore left hamstring. He leads Milwaukee with 19 homers and 62 RBI. The Brewers are 13th in the NL in runs scored and fourth in strikeouts. Shortstop Jose Hernandez has 17 home runs, but he has also struck out 114 times.

        • The rest: The Brewers have the worst record in the NL.... The Reds and Brewers split a four-game series July 4-7. The Reds had won the first seven games of the season series prior to that.
