Columbus 2, Louisville 0

        LOUISVILLE, KY — Mike Thurman dominated on the mound and Billy McMillon hit an two-run home run as the Columbus Clippers beat the Louisville Bats 2-0 Sunday in an International League game.

        Thurman (2-2) scattered four hits over 8 1/3 innings while striking out five.

        Jason Anderson came in to get the last out of the game and picked up his second save of the season.

        McMillon's homer came in the eighth inning.

        Chris Sexton, Raul Gonzalez, Brandon Larson, Robin Jennings and Bobby Darula were the only Louisville players to get a hit.

        Jose Acevedo (5-6) took the loss. He lasted eight innings, giving up two runs on six hits with seven strike outs.
