LOUISVILLE, Ky. Ozzie Timmons hit a two-run home run as Richmond beat Louisville 5-4 Friday in the International League.
Mike Torrealba added a solo home run in the fifth inning and Wilson Betemit went 2-for-4 for the Braves. The teams split their four-game series.
Ruben Mateo and Brandon Larson each had two hits and Jeff Frye drove in two runs for the Bats.
Richmond starter Trey Hodges (8-2) gave up four runs in 5 1/3 innings, and Tim Spooneybarger pitched the ninth for the save.
Brian Reith (4-4) surrendered five runs in six innings on seven hits for the Bats.
