OTTAWA Kevin Witt and Brandon Larson each drove in two runs to help Louisville beat the Ottawa Lynx 4-1 in the International League Saturday.
Witt, who has nine RBIs in his last four games, drove in two on a double in the top of the first inning. Larson brought Witt home with his 11th home run, giving Louisville a 4-0 lead.
Jared Fernandez (6-3) allowed just one run on five hits and struck out four. Carlos Almanzar pitched a perfect ninth inning to earn his 11th save for the Bats, who have won 10 of their last 12 games.
Joe Vitiello had three hits for Ottawa. Julio Manon (5-2) gave up four runs and four hits over five innings.
