Records: Reds 21-15, first place in the National League Central. Brewers 12-25, sixth in the NL Central and 9 1/2 games behind the Reds.
The probables: Today, Jose Rijo (2-1, 4.60 ERA) vs. Nick Neugebauer (1-4, 5.09); Tueday, Jose Acevedo (3-1, 7.53) vs. Ben Sheets (3-3, 4.57); Wednesday, Jimmy Haynes (2-4, 4.71) vs. TBA; Thursday, Chris Reitsma (2-0, 3.18) vs. Ruben Quevedo (1-4, 5.40).
The bats: First baseman Richie Sexson has homered in three straight games, including a grand slam in Sunday's 13-4 victory over the Cubs. He's second in the NL with 36 RBI.
The rest: The Reds swept three games from the Brewers last week. Milwaukee is awful on the road (5-16) but respectable at home (7-9).
