LOUISVILLE, Ky. Brandon Larson hit a home run to lead the Louisville Bats to a 4-3 victory over the Syracuse Sky Chiefs in an International League game Saturday night.
Larson went 2-for-3 and also had a double. Chris Sexton and Jeff Frye each contributed two hits for the Bats.
Pedro Swann went 2-for-4 with a triple and an RBI for Syracuse.
Louisville starter Luke Hudson (3-3) went seven innings, allowing three runs on five hits to pick up the victory. Carlos Almanzar pitched a perfect ninth to earn his eighth save of the season.
Mark Hendrickson (1-2) took the loss for Syracuse after giving up four runs on seven hits in 6 1/3 innings of work, despite striking out seven.
