• The bats: The Phillies were 11th in the NL in runs scored entering Thursday. Pat Burrell is responsible for two of the team's wins with walk-off homers. He and Scott Rolen each have three home runs on the season. Bobby Abreu is hitting .385.
• The rest: The Reds were 2-4 against the Phillies last year, but Cincinnati took two of three in a Sept.25-27 series in Philly when the Phillies were still in the playoff race.
