        How the runs scored in Monday's game between the Cubs and the Reds:

        Reds first. Walker doubled to left. Larkin flied out to right fielder Sosa, Walker to third. Griffey Jr. hit a sacrifice fly to left fielder Brown, Walker scored. Casey singled to center. Boone popped out to second baseman DeShields. 1 run, 2 hits, 0 errors, 1 left on. Reds 1, Cubs 0.

        Reds third. Walker doubled to right. Larkin grounded out, shortstop Gonzalez to first baseman McGriff, Walker to third. Griffey Jr. grounded into fielder's choice, second baseman DeShields to catcher Hundley to third baseman Stynes, Walker out. Casey singled to left, Griffey Jr. scored. Casey to second. Boone flied out to center fielder Patterson. 1 run, 2 hits, 0 errors, 1 left on. Reds 2, Cubs 0.

        Cubs fourth. Gonzalez singled to left. Hundley flied out to center fielder Griffey Jr., Gonzalez to second. Stynes popped out to second baseman Walker. Lieber singled to left, Gonzalez to third. DeShields singled to center, Gonzalez scored, Lieber to second. Patterson grounded out, first baseman Casey unassisted. 1 run, 3 hits, 0 errors, 2 left on. Reds 2, Cubs 1.

        Cubs fifth. Sosa grounded out, first baseman Casey to pitcher Hamilton. McGriff grounded out, second baseman Walker to first baseman Casey. Brown doubled to center. Gonzalez walked.
