Boone: Dunn will learn 1B

Bob Boone said he hasn't seen Adam Dunn at first base long enough to be comfortable, but it won't affect how the manager uses him.
It doesn't matter if I'm comfortable or not, Boone said. That's what we're going to use. But we'll find out. I'm pretty confident in his athletic ability. He may not be great when he starts playing there, but I'm comfortable that he'll get better.
Dunn, an outfielder, became Sean Casey's backup at first when Robin Jennings was designated for assignment before the Reds left spring training in Sarasota, Fla. Dunn started practicing at the postion soon after.
Boone said Dunn hasn't played first since high school, but the position is more natural to Dunn than left field.
He's probably more comfortable there than he is in the outfield, Boone said.
