        At Sarasota, Fla. The arms: Starter Chris Reitsma went five innings and allowed two runs on four hits in Sarasota. ... Gabe White gave up two runs on three hits in one inning of work. ... Jose Rijo's streak of retiring 20 batters in a row ended. He walked the first batter he faced, then gave up a home run to Tony Batista. Rijo took the loss. ... Scott Williamson struck out the side around a base hit. ... Danny Graves pitched a perfect ninth.

        The bats: The Reds had 12 hits, giving them 22 over the past two games. Juan Encarnacion hit his first home run of the spring. ... Adam Dunn and Gookie Dawkins hit triples in the four-run third. Aaron Boone and Todd Walker had two hits, including a double, each.

        The rest: Third baseman Aaron Boone made a nice bare-handed play in the ninth. Boone's had a good spring in the field.

        Up next: The Reds play the Pittsburgh Pirates today at Ed Smith Stadium. ... Opening Day starter Joey Hamilton (0-0, 0.69) faces former Reds left-hander Ron Villone (1-0, 1.50).
