Reds have big plans for final games

Tickets for last series at Cinergy Field go on sale May 18

The Cincinnati Enquirer

The Reds promise to send Riverfront Stadium/Cinergy Field out with a bang.

That's why tickets for the last home series of the year — Sept.20-22 vs. the Philadelphia Phillies — are being sold on special dates and for an additional $3 a ticket.

“We're doing a bunch of stuff,” Reds director of marketing Cal Levy said. “It's going to be very cool.”

Tickets for the final series go on sale from 9a.m. to 5p.m. May 18 at the Cinergy Field ticket windows and at the Reds Dugout Shop, located in the Westin Hotel downtown.

Tickets also may be purchased at area Tickets.com outlets, online at www.cincinnatireds.com or by phone at 513-381-REDS and 877-647-REDS.

A maximum of six tickets per person may be purchased for the final game, which is 1:15p.m. Sept.22.

Tickets for the final series at Cinergy Field are guaranteed in all full-season and most partial-season ticket packages.

The Reds have fireworks planned for the Friday game.

“It's going to be an amazing display,” Levy said.

Saturday, stadium replicas will be given away. Sunday, commemorative ticket-holders will be given away.
