        NEW YORK — The 91 free agents who have signed, with name, position, former club if different, and contract. The contract information was obtained by The Associated Press from player and management sources. For players with minor league contracts, letter agreements for major league contracts are in parentheses:

        AMERICAN LEAGUE

        ANAHEIM (3) — Re-signed Jorge Fabregas, c, to a $500,000, one-year contract; signed Dennis Cook, lhp, Philadelphia, to a $1.25 million, one-year contract; signed Aaron Sele, rhp, Seattle, to a $24 million, three-year contract.
       BALTIMORE (1) — Signed Marty Cordova, of, Cleveland, to a $9.1 million, three-year contract.
       BOSTON (2) — Signed John Burkett, rhp, Atlanta, to an $11 million, two-year contract; signed Johnny Damon, of, Oakland, to a $31 million, four-year contract.
       CLEVELAND (2) — Signed Ricky Gutierrez, ss, Chicago Cubs, to an $11 million, three-year contract; signed Mark Wohlers, rhp, New York Yankees, to a $4 million, two-year contract.
       DETROIT (2) — Signed Craig Paquette, 3b, St. Louis, to a $5.1 million, two-year contract; signed Bill Simas, rhp, Chicago White Sox, to a minor league contract ($300,000).
       KANSAS CITY (2) — Re-signed Luis Alicea, 2b, to an $800,000, one-year contract; signed Chuck Knoblauch, of, New York Yankees, to a $2 million, one-year contract.
       MINNESOTA (2) — Signed Kurt Abbott, 2b, Atlanta, to a minor league contract ($400,000); signed Mike Jackson, rhp, Houston, to a minor league contract ($500,000).
       NEW YORK (7) — Signed Steve Karsay, rhp, Atlanta, to a $22.25 million, four-year contract; signed Jason Giambi, 1b, Oakland, to a $120 million, seven-year contract; signed Rondell White, of, Chicago Cubs, to a $10 million, two-year contract; re-signed Sterling Hitchcock, lhp, to a $12 million, two-year contract; re-signed Luis Sojo, 2b, to a minor league contract ($350,000); signed David Wells, lhp, Chicago White Sox, to a $7 million, two-year contract; signed Ron Coomer, 1b, Chicago Cubs, to a minor league contract.
