Where: Wrigley Field, Chicago.
Radio: WLW-AM (700).
TV: Fox Sports Net, tonight and Tuesday.
Records: Reds 58-85, fifth place National League Central; Chicago 77-65, second place National League Central.
The arms:
Today RHP Chris Reitsma (7-14, 5.03 ERA) vs. RHP Jon Lieber (17-6, 3.70);
Tuesday RHP Jose Acevedo (4-6, 6.13) vs. RHP Juan Cruz (2-1, 1.90);
Wednesday LHP Lance Davis (6-3, 4.98) vs. RHP Kerry Wood (10-6, 3.48);
Thursday Elmer Dessens (9-12, 4.62) vs. RHP Kevin Tapani (9-12, 4.10).
The bats: That Sammy Sosa guy is having a pretty decent year. He is hitting .313 with 53 home runs and 138 RBI. He hasn't had a lot of help. Rondell White amd Matt Stairs are tied for second on the club with 13 homers.
The rest: This is a must series for the Cubs if they hope to catch the Astros in the Central. Even with a good series, the Cubbies probably have a more realistic shot at the wildcard. The Reds are 0-3 at Wrigley this year and 2-8 against the Cubs overall.
