Reds-Expos scouting report
When: 7:05p.m. today and Saturday; 1:35p.m. Sunday.
Where: Olympic Stadium, Montreal.
Radio: WLW-AM (700).
TV: Fox Sports Net, tonight and Sunday.
Records: Reds (51-76), fifth place in the National League Central, vs. Montreal Expos (54-73), fifth place in the National League East.
The arms: Today LHP Dennys Reyes (1-4, 5.16 ERA) vs. RHP Tony Armas (9-11, 3.74); Saturday RHP Chris Reitsma (5-13, 4.94) vs. RHP Mike Thurman (6-9. 5.90); Sunday RHP Jose Acevedo (3-5, 6.49) vs. RHP Bobby Munoz (0-3, 3.82).
The bats: Vladimir Guerrero is having another big year (.318, 30 home runs, 88 RBI). Lee Stevens (18 HRs, 77 RBI) is the other big run producer. Jose Vidro is hitting .326, but injuries have forced him to miss 36 games.
The rest: This will be the first time the Reds and Expos play each other this season. The Reds took six of nine from the Expos last year, including all three in Montreal.
