The bats
The Brewers have some pop in the lineup. Jeromy Burnitz has 26 homers and 75 RBI. Richie Sexson has 29 HRs and 78 RBI. But lately the Brewers have struggled in the clutch. The team batting average with runners in scoring position since the All-Star break was .179 through Wednesday.

The Brewers broke a three-game losing streak Thursday but still have lost eight of 11 games. Neugebauer will make his big-league debut. The Brewers are 6-4 against the Reds this year.
