Dayton sold out for Rijo's start tonight
Jose Rijo, who last pitched in the major leagues in 1995 for the Reds, will make his first professional outing since then tonight for the Dayton Dragons.

Rijo is scheduled to start for the Reds' Single-A farm team against West Michigan at 7 p.m. at Fifth Third Field. The game is a sellout.
If Rijo's outing goes well, he figures to pitch a second game for Dayton before a promotion to Triple-A Louisville.
Then he might make an appearance for the Reds.
Rijo pitched in 14 games for the Reds in 1995 before injuring his right elbow and having surgery. Rijo, 36, has been working out at his home in the Dominican Republic.
