Griffey's All-Star streak near end
It doesn't look like Ken Griffey will be elected to the All-Star Game starting lineup for the 12th straight year.
Griffey is fifth in the voting among NL outfielders this week 33,766 behind third-place Larry Walker of Colorado and 10,742 behind fourth-place Luis Gonzalez of Arizona.
Ballpark voting has ended. Online voting continues through Saturday.
No other Red has a chance to be elected to the starting lineup. Closest is Barry Larkin, second among shortstops but nearly 200,000 votes behind Rich Aurilia of San Francisco.
The game is July 10 at Safeco Field in Seattle.
