Right-handers Mario Soto and Bob Ewing are the latest additions to the Reds' Hall of Fame. They'll be inducted Aug.12 before the Reds-Rockies game at Cinergy Field.

        Soto spent his 12-year career with the Reds, posting a 100-92 record and a 3.47 ERA in 297 appearances. He ranks second on the club's all-time list with 1,449 strikeouts, and is the only pitcher to lead the Reds in strikeouts for six different seasons.

        Soto was a National League All-Star in 1982-84 while achieving a significant plateau each season. After striking out a club-record 274 hitters in 1982, he led the NL in complete games in 1983 and '84 with 18 and 13, respectively.

        Ewing's 11-year major-league career began with his 1902-09 Cincinnati stint. He finished 124-118 with a 2.49 ERA in 291 games. His 2.37 ERA as a Red is a franchise best, and his 184 complete games rank fourth in team history.
