Opening Day schedule of festivities

Here's a schedule of Monday festivities leading up to the 133rd Opening Day game between the Reds and Braves at Cinergy Field:

PARADE MAP
        • 8 a.m.: Streets in the Findlay Market area close in preparation for the parade. Those streets are Race, Elm, Green, Findlay, Elder, Henry, Dunlap and Logan streets.

Race Street, between Liberty and Fifth streets, and Fifth Street, between Race Street and Columbia Parkway, will close at 10 a.m.

        • 10 a.m: The Findlay Market Opening Day Parade begins. It will follow Findlay, Race and Fifth streets, terminating east of the Taft Theatre, Fifth and Sycamore streets.

It will include floats, antique cars, city dignitaries, 13 Tristate high school marching bands and some of Cincinnati's most well-known athletes — former Bengal Anthony Munoz, who will be grand marshall, and Olympic boxers Dante Craig and Ricardo Williams Jr.

        • 12:31 p.m.: On-the-field ceremonies begin at Cinergy Field.

Country singer Martina McBride will sing the national anthem and an F-16 jet will fly over the field before U.S. Sen. Mike DeWine, R- Ohio, throws the ceremonial first pitch.

        • 1:05 p.m.: First pitch.
