Griffey decision will wait
Manager Bob Boone will wait at least another day to announce whether center fielder Ken Griffey Jr., who continued to test his strained left hamstring, will start Monday on Opening Day against the Atlanta Braves.
I'll have to make the decision sooner or later, said Boone, who will lead the team in a workout this afternoon. If he's going to play, it'll be later.
Griffey's regimen Saturday included functional baseball exercises with physical therapist Lonnie Soloff for the second day in a row. They played catch on a practice field before Soloff tossed Griffey a series of unchallenging fly balls.
