Game report: Phillies 8, Reds 0

The arms: Despite the lopsided score, manager Bob Boone accomplished his goal of getting work for most of his relief pitchers. He inserted Mark Wohlers, Dennys Reyes and Scott Williamson in mid-inning.

The bats: The Reds had only five hits but out-hit their opposition for the spring, .267-.259. Sean Casey singled to finish with a .344 spring average, second among regulars to Ken Griffey Jr.'s .351.

The rest: Brady Clark made a nice running catch of Randy Wolf's fifth-inning fly ball. Clark, who made boosters out of teammates and many Reds officials with his ceaseless hustle and unquenchable desire, was optioned to Triple-A Louisville March 15.

Up next: Workout at Cinergy Field, 2 p.m. today; Opening Day against Atlanta, 1:05 p.m. Monday.
